Lifetime Fitness
Students in this class will use concepts of health-related and skill-related fitness to connect the benefits each offers to the development of total fitness. Students will analyze present fitness levels to create a long-term personal fitness plan which meets current and future needs necessary for the maintenance of health and fitness.

ATTENTION ALL CLASSES: 
DO YOU NEED TO MAKE-UP DAYS OR POINTS MISSED?  HERE ARE A COUPLE OF WAYS:

1..FIND AN ARTICLE IN THE HEALTH & FITNESS (Lifettime Fitness must use the Health and Fitness section or choose to write a paper on Yoga or Pilates-consider the history and why they are so popular today).OR SPORTS SECTION OF THE NEWSPAPER.  WRITE A TWO PAGE SUMMARY OF THE ARTICLE.  INCLUDE WHY THIS ARTICLE WAS OF INTEREST TO YOU, AND YOUR OPINION OF THE ARTICLE AND AUTHOR.  PLEASE INCLUDE THE ARTICLE WITH YOUR PAPER.  (remember to include an introduction and closing paragraph(s), please!)

2. YOU MAY ALSO DO THIS SAME ASSIGNMENT USING THE INTERNET.  FIND AN ARTICLE ABOUT HEALTH, FITNESS, OR SPORTS.  SUMMARIZE THE ARTICLE AND FOLLOW THE SAME PROCEDURE AS LISTED ABOVE.
