This cource is an entry level course for most high school students. Algebra I topics will inculde linear equation, function notation, coordinate graphing, systems of equations, exponents, and polynomials. Problem solving is an integral part of this course.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Pre-Algebra
This course follows Pre-Calculus in the four-year college bound curriculum. Topics include derivatives, applications of the derivative, integration, and applications of the integral. This course will prepare students to continue their mathematical experience in college.
Prerequisite: C in Pre-Calculus
Statistics is part of the four-year college bound curriculum. The students will be exposed to a variety of formulas and statistical distributions that can be used to formulate hypotheses about real-life problems. This course will prepare students to continue their mathematics experience in college.
Prerequisite: Algebra II
